My Vision

My vision is based on John 15. Jesus speaks to His Disciples, those present with Him and those who were to come. We are to be like Him, doing the things He did and even more.

My Mission

My mission is summarized in Matthew 28 where Jesus commands us to go and make disciples. This is much more than "decision theology." We are to share insight into Christ and assist others in following Him.

My Values

My hope is that my values align with those of Christ. As Dietrich Bonhoeffer so eloquently described, Christ is "for humanity" in every possible way. We too need to be "for humanity" in the broadest possible context. That context must include justice, mercy, knowledge, competency, and commitment. We cannot replace Christ's boundless love for humanity with any simplistic ideology.

My Strategy

My strategy is simple. I will try to communicate what I have learned with all who will hear. My approach will be direct, person-to-person interaction. I have seen the results of the big "crusades," the "revivals," the great sermons, the concerts, the TV shows, the "mission trips," the door-knocking campaigns, the ice-cream socials, the small "interest groups," and the "retreats." These have had little impact on the direction of our world or the effectiveness of individual Christians. We remain violently materialistic and hopelessly lost. It must be person-to-person. It must be God to individuals amplified by individuals working with others. It begins with a spiritual connection between God and a human and then humans making spiritual connects with other humans.

My Strength

I do have some strengths, but they are of little help in the great task of reconciling this world to God. He alone has the power of the Holy Spirit that could accomplish anything of worth in this task.

Who is Ron Stites

Ron Stites is a retired scientist, business owner, teacher, and activist. Much of his business career was in chemical technology development and commercialization. He holds six patents and managed several businesses and launched several start-ups to develop or apply new technologies. He has taught marketing and accounting at a college level at two Christian Universities. He has also been an activist for business and political ethics.

He became a Christian later in life than most. Always a serious student of science and mathematics, religious faith did not come easy to him. It was a life crisis while studying Chemistry at the University of Kansas that finally drew him irrevocably into the Kingdom of God and of His Christ. From that moment on, the intersection of the Gospel with modern life became a subject of intense study and experience.

Ron began writing technology books in 2015. He was invited by Walter de Gruyter GmbH to write a textbook on managing technology development in 2022. The subjects of science, knowledge, faith, good, ethics, social organization, and human purpose have never left him. He wrote his first book on faith in 2016.

His latest book is the first of a two-volume work on Christian Social Ethics. He recounts multiple experiences that taught him twelve principles necessary to live a Life consistent with Christian Ethics. A second volume that deals with the role of the Church in Social Ethics is in the works.
